The Gates Scholarship:  (Deadline Sept. 15)  A high school senior from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American--Pell-eligible, A US citizen, national or permanent resident. A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.

 

Horatio Alger Scholarship – Seeks to assist students who have demonstrated integrity, perseverance in overcoming adversity, strength of character, financial need, a good academic record, commitment to pursue a college education and a desire to contribute to society.  Minimum GPA of 2.0.  Online Application must be completed by Oct. 25.

The Linly Heflin Scholarship - Alabama women attending four-year Alabama colleges and universities. Scholarships are $5,000 per year for up to four years. Applicants must demonstrate both significant economic need and sound academic records.  Applications will be available online beginning August 1, 2017 on our website, www.linlyheflin.org.

The Cameron Impact Scholarship - This is a four year merit-based scholarship that covers full tuition and educational expenses. Smith Scholarship Foundation - Deadline Dec. 1st
"Alabama Scholarships for Service, Not Just Grades" - A minimum C+ grade average and civic involvement and/or special family responsibility is required. GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Deadline TBA
