The Linly Heflin Scholarship - Alabama women attending four-year Alabama colleges and universities. Scholarships are $5,000 per year for up to four years. Applicants must demonstrate both significant economic need and sound academic records.  Applications will be available online beginning August 1, 2017 on our website, 


The Alabama School Public Relations Association is a statewide coalition of professional school communicators. ALSPRA offers financial support to students who plan to enroll in an Alabama college or university after high school graduation and who plan to seek a degree in communication, public relations or a related field. Student members who are eligible may apply for the education scholarship program offered at the beginning of each calendar year and awarded at the annual ALSPRA Conference in mid-Spring. Please click on the link to fill out the application and upload attachments required for the application. The deadline for the 2017-18 ALSPRA Student Scholarship is February 2.

The Cameron Impact Scholarship - This is a four year merit-based scholarship that covers full tuition and educational expenses. Seniors (class of 2017) planning to enroll in a full-time course of student toward a bachelor's degree at an accredited 4 year U.S. college or university.  Deadline September 15

National Space Club Scholarship - $10,000 – 1 Award  Open to high school seniors. Must pursue a major in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field. Go to:  


Smith Scholarship Foundation - Deadline Dec. 1st
"Alabama Scholarships for Service, Not Just Grades" - A minimum C+ grade average and civic involvement and/or special family responsibility is required. A minimum grade of C+ is necessary to continue the four year scholarship.  The application as well as proof of completion of the FAFSA application must be submitted by Dec. 1st.  January 15th - Part II of the application due, which includes letters of recommendation.  Visit for more information.  Smith Scholarship Flyer and Common Questions

GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship - Deadline TBA
High school seniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship are invited and encouraged to apply.  This program annually provides college-bound students with a $10,000 renewable scholarship.  Additional information, eligibility requirements, and the application may be found by clicking here
